Description:

Performs Navy Afloat Maintenance Training Strategy (NAMTS) intermediate-level support procedures including inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing A/C systems and compressors click here in support of Battle Force Intermediate Maintenance Activity (BFIMA) requirements. Demonstrates knowledge of intermediate-level hvac repair procedures, repair and maintenance standards, quality assurance specifications, and proper use of IMA industrial click here machinery.

Award of this NEC is click here based on documented completion of Fleet-specified Job Qualification Requirements (JQRs) for this skill and demonstration of advanced-level proficiency during hands-on training and production work as specified in the current JQR located at www.namts.com. Training is led by journeyman-level craftsmen and supplemented by appropriate self-paced hvac website instruction consistent with Department of Labor journeyman certification.
